Why We Give We seek partnerships with not-for profit organizations that help build safer and stronger communities. Our charitable partners share our action-oriented values, philosophy and objectives. We work as a team to accomplish meaningful results in our communities while achieving mutual benefits for all partners. WSOR looks for innovative projects and programs that are aligned with our concentration areas. We collaborate with community groups that have demonstrated success in delivering significant value and contributing to positive change in their communities. Charitable Donations We recognize that community organizations need financial and /or in-kind resources in order to achieve their goals. Each year, WSOR works with not-for-profit groups on opportunities that are consistent with our concentration areas so that we can partner and achieve common goals together. It makes good sense to focus our charitable donations and in-kind gifts where we can have the most impact. Sponsorships Corporate and Community-based Sponsorships offers WSOR and our not-for-profit and other groups the opportunity to enter into business relationships that benefit both parties. We consider sponsorship opportunities when the target audience for a not-for-profit event is shared by WSOR. Sponsorships can provide meaningful benefits for the community and not-for-profit groups while delivering an important safety or railroad message from the WSOR.
